The terms, plainly

By installing or using Editrix PDF ("Editrix," "the app"), you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

What Editrix does

Editrix is a document editing and conversion tool. It edits, annotates, redacts, signs, protects, and converts files that you choose to open, and saves the results back to your device's storage. It does not back up your files anywhere, and it has no way to recover a file that was deleted, overwritten, or lost outside of the app.

Destructive operations

Several features in Editrix are intentionally permanent: redaction removes text from a page rather than covering it, and saving an edited file overwrites the version you opened (unless you've made your own copy first). This is deliberate — a redaction tool that can be undone isn't actually redacting anything — but it also means you're responsible for keeping backups of anything you can't afford to lose before editing it. We aren't liable for documents that are lost, altered, or made unreadable through use of the app, including through redaction, overwriting, or file corruption from an unrelated cause (a crash, a full disk, a damaged storage device).

Your content

You own whatever you create or edit with Editrix. We don't receive a copy of it, don't claim any rights to it, and have no visibility into what you do with the app. You're responsible for having the rights to edit, convert, sign, or redact any document you open — Editrix doesn't check this for you.

In-app purchases

The "Remove Ads" purchase is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed through Google Play Billing. Refunds are handled entirely by Google Play's own refund policy — we don't process payments or issue refunds directly, and don't have access to your payment information.

Advertising

The free version of Editrix displays ads served by Google AdMob. Ad content and targeting are controlled by Google, not by us — see the Privacy Policyfor how that works.

No warranty

Editrix is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We work to keep editing and conversion accurate, but we don't guarantee that every PDF, Word, PowerPoint, or Excel file will convert or display perfectly, or that the app will be free of bugs. Use it with the same caution you'd use with any tool that modifies files you care about.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continuing to use Editrix after an update means you accept the new terms.
